Questflow Raises $6.5M to Build a Decentralized AI Agent Workforce on Blockchain

Questflow, a platform designed to orchestrate AI agents for the multi-agent economy, has secured $6.5 million in seed funding. The round was led by CyberFund, with additional participation from Delphi Labs, Systemic Ventures, Eden Block, White Star Capital, Web3.com, Animoca Brands, HashKey Capital, Wagmi Ventures, ElizaOS, the Tezos Foundation, and CatcherVC. The company also received grants from Aptos, Coinbase Developer Platform, and Virtuals Protocol.

The funding will accelerate Questflow’s mission to create an always-on, on-chain AI workforce that automates workflows for individuals and businesses while maintaining human oversight for critical decisions.

Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol to Coordinate AI Agents

Questflow’s core technology is the Multi-Agent Orchestration Protocol (MAOP), which enables multiple AI agents to collaborate, execute tasks, and transact directly on-chain. This protocol allows real-time coordination between agents while ensuring human supervision where needed.

“Our vision is to enable an AI agent economy that supports any workflow,” said Bob Xu, co-founder and CEO of Questflow. “Whether for a solo creator or an enterprise team, everyone should have access to an AI workforce that is reliable, transparent, and easy to manage.”

Connecting AI Agents with Task and Token Orchestration

Most AI agents today are siloed and disconnected from blockchain systems. Questflow bridges this gap with two orchestration models.

Task orchestration allows swarms of AI agents to manage multi-step workflows across Web2 applications such as Google Workspace, Airtable, and Notion, as well as Web3 dApps and protocols.

Token orchestration equips each AI agent with its own on-chain wallet, enabling agent-to-agent micropayments and seamless real-time transactions. This turns AI agents into active economic participants in a decentralized ecosystem.

Early Traction and Expanding Partnerships

Questflow has already gained significant momentum, with recognition from a16z, Cohere, and MongoDB. It was selected for Google for Startups and was named Product of the Day on Product Hunt.

The company is expanding its partner network to include Google, Coinbase Developer Platform, Circle, Aptos, Near, CoinGecko, and Jambo Phone, strengthening its presence across both Web2 and Web3 environments.

The AI Workforce Flywheel

Questflow is building an on-chain flywheel that drives the growth of a scalable AI agent economy through four stages:

  1. Create – Developers and creators can build, deploy, and monetize AI swarms with a no-code editor and SDK, each linked to an on-chain wallet.
  2. Use – End users can manage swarms to automate workflows while retaining oversight for essential actions.
  3. Pay – Transparent, real-time micropayments ensure fair and instant compensation for AI agents.
  4. Tokenize – Communities can launch and govern AI swarms via tokenization, fostering shared ownership and participation.

“Giving every agent a wallet is the first step,” Xu added. “The real value comes from enabling agents to collaborate, earn, and transact autonomously, creating a self-sustaining AI workforce economy.”

Scaling the Future of AI-Agent Collaboration

With new funding, Questflow plans to expand orchestration capabilities, introduce ecosystem incentives, and open the MAOP protocol to developers and partners for a variety of real-world applications.

As AI and blockchain technologies converge, Questflow is well-positioned to connect isolated AI systems and enable anyone to deploy on-chain AI workforces that are as reliable as software but as adaptive as human teams.

By supporting permissionless creation, coordination, and monetization of AI agents, Questflow is laying the foundation for a decentralized AI Agent Economy where intelligent agents can transact, collaborate, and generate value autonomously.
